Instant Muses

There’s no doubt we all have our own muse or muses that our Polaroid cameras seem to favor. Who are your instant-muses and why? Is it your classy gal pal or your crazy little brother? Your rocker boyfriend or the strange lady at the library? Do you feel that you capture them differently on Polaroid than if you used another camera? The Women and Men theme sections are where you can feature your muse front row and center. Take your favorite inspiration out for a summer Polaroid shoot and don’t forget to upload to The List!

outdated polaroid show

For anyone interested in contributing to the OUTDATED Polaroid art show being held in Chicago on August 15, you can still make the deadline on July 25th! Go to polaroidshow.com and their myspace for more information!

OUTDATED is an upcoming art show comprised of nothing but Polaroid film photographs. On February 8th of this year Polaroid Corporation announced that they will cease to produce the instant film that many of us have become so attached to.

To celebrate the wonder of Polaroid film and bid it farewell, we are asking for submissions for a Polaroid-only show set to take place on August 15th at the Country Club gallery in Chicago, Illiniois.

The goal is to have a show full of a wide variety of images showing the versatility of this disappearing medium. Therefore the theme is open. Help us show the wide range of subjects captured on Polaroid brand instant film.

WE NEED YOUR SUBMISSIONS OF POLAROID INSTANT FILM PHOTOGRAPHS!

Please see our website for guidelines and more information:..

polaroidshow.com

This website should answer all of your questions. Check it out! Please make sure to read the ’submissions’ and ‘FAQ’ pages before writing - chances are it will clear up almost everything.
